It’s October, which means everyone’s favorite way to start the morning has become the Pumpkin Spice Latte. But during the season of pumpkin-spiced everything, what’s one to do when in need of a stiff drink instead of 20-oz dose of caffeine? This pumpkin fizz is the answer to your prayers.
This mix of pumpkin purée, honey and lemon juice, topped off with bourbon and ginger beer is a little sweet, a little spicy and just the right amount of pumpkin-y.
Plus, it looks like a drink that might be served at The Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade Village, so there’s a little magic in every sip.

- 1/2 whole lemon, juice only
- 1 1/2 ounces bourbon
